Textured Glass is when your Glass Bayfox has uniquely shaped and textured glass! This glass can be segmented like stained glass, but not stained, and is more close to transparent. Additionally, textured glass can be used to make a bayfox's glass have ridges or other patterns. Glass with uniquely colored segments would be stained glass. The ripples underneath are blurred.
Classic Glass is when your Glass Bayfox retains features from before glass was redefined, so it may look more like Ice even though it's glass! Classic Glass often shares a similar diagonal shine to ice and is a lighter or darker overlay on the water. This is an outdated feature and cannot be applied to new Bayfoxes.
Instead, the ice trait can be utilized for a similar effect on newer bayfoxes.
Stained Glass is when your Glass Bayfox has colored glass arranged in complex shapes to create a larger image! This type of glass can be a transparent or solid color and can be portrayed with a diagonal shine. Glass that is segmented but transparent is textured glass, and not stained. If transparent, The ripples underneath are blurred.
Mirror Glass is when your Glass Bayfox has silvery, highly reflective glass. This glass is a solid color and not transparent, and can also have a diagonal shine. Due to its solid nature, ripples should not be depicted underneath. This form of glass will often reflect its surroundings.
Porcelain Glass is when your Glass Bayfox has opaque, claylike glass, coming in any color. Due to its solid nature, ripples should not be depicted underneath. Patterns and shapes can be depicted on porcelain glass, though not segmented like stained glass.
Container Glass is when your Glass Bayfox has regions that work like a container that can hold things inside of it, such as water, plants, or miscellaneous objects. This can include limbs such as legs or tails, horns, or other areas of the body becoming terrarium-like in nature! Unlike other glass traits, this trait does not rest on top of the water and is typically its own section entirely. A diagonal shine can be added for effect but is not required.
If a tail is simply an object such as a bottle or jar, it would count as the container glass trait.
